Tanya Chaitow was born in South Africa where she studied theatre and English literature before immigrating to Sydney where she completed a Masters in Fine Art in 2007. She is a mother of four now adult children.
She paints her own fragile inner world, imbuing it with a sense of theatre and story telling and in the process creating fairy tales for adults.
She has been hung in the Blake, Mosman and Dobell drawing Art Prizes and shows her work nationally.
