"I like to collect materials and assemble them in meaningful patterns. Collectibles are predominantly recycled pieces and organic bits such as leaves, sticks & wood.
The life essence and vitality of Rosalie Gascoigne's work is a huge inspiration to me.
I have always lived under tin ceilings and am deeply affected by the meditative quality of these bas relief patterns.
Using the collected materials I create wall pieces with a sculptural element. Weaving is a technique I often use to help me achieve this.
The
nature of the material will inspire the final design which is often
based on my interpretation of a landscape."
